New: Henry H23 SPD Predator .223 with Carbon Fiber Barrel, Sub-MOA Guarantee
Henry's in-house Special Products Division team keeps pushing the envelope on what to expect in a lever-action rifle with the new Predator, billed as its most accurate to date.
The H23 SPD Predator is the only rifle in Henry's catalog backed by a three-shot sub-MOA guarantee from the factory, with the development team repeatedly making one-mile shots – with a .223/5.56 caliber rifle.
Documented below:
The secret to the sauce on the SPD Predator is an 18-inch match-grade free-floated 416R stainless-steel barrel tension-wrapped in carbon fiber for improved rigidity, faster cooling, and reduced weight. The rifle carries gray laminate furniture with an adjustable comb system and a forged Picatinny top rail for optics.
Add to that a match-grade factory-tuned user-adjustable trigger, included Harris S-LM bipod, a threaded muzzle (1/2x28), and AR-pattern magazine compatibility, then you have a very interesting lever gun.
The overall length of the new Henry SPD Predator is 38 inches with its 18-inch barrel, while the weight is 6.2 pounds. It ships with a single 10-round AR-pattern magazine and has a tang switch safety.

"The SPD Predator represents a leap forward for the lever-action category," said Anthony Imperato, Founder & CEO of Henry Repeating Arms. "The team set out to create a rifle that meets the demands of serious predator hunters, and they delivered something truly groundbreaking. This is a lever action that competes squarely with precision bolt-action rifles, while preserving the quick follow-up shots and nimble form factor that hunters love about lever guns."
The bad news: the MSRP on the new Henry SPD Predator is $2,510 (come on guys, you were this close to $2,499).
