Remington Ammunition is launching some new lines as well as updating some old favorites and expanding its caliber offerings in 2026, and we have the roundup for you.

2A-Themed Buckets

Shooters are certainly familiar with Remington’s longstanding buckets of bullets, but some creative marketing behind the scenes is taking these to another level for 2026. Now, shooters can pick up limited-edition buckets of popular calibers and loads with “We the People,” “Come and Take It,” and “Don’t Tread on Me” themes in celebration of patriotism, freedom, and the 250th birthday of the United States.

While we’re on the topic, Remington Ammunition continues to be loaded in Arkansas by American workers, so you can rest assured you’re buying American while exercising your Second Amendment right.

SUBSONIC Rounds

Quiet rounds are making big noise this year, and Remington joins the mix with updates to its Subsonic family. The rifle, handgun, and rimfire subsonic loads are built to be paired with cans. They’re loaded with custom powders and primers, then tipped with enclosed base bullets to reduce lead buildup in suppressor ports.

The rounds sell in 20-round boxes, and the new caliber options include:

  • .300 Blackout / 220-gr OTFB
  • .360 Buckhammer / 250-gr BHP
  • .308 Win / 190-gr BHP
  • .45-70 Gov’t / 300-gr BHP
  • .400 Legend / TBD

7mm Backcountry

When the revolutionary 7mm Backcountry round with its Peak Alloy casing splashed onto the scene last year, Federal had the corner on loaded ammo. With a year under its belt, the 7mm BC is now being loaded by Remington, and will fall into three existing product families: Core Lokt, Core Lokt Tipped, and Premier Long Range.

Each will be loaded with 175-grain projectiles, but all in different types. The rounds are packed per 20 round box in one of three options at launch:

  • Core Lokt / 7mm BC / 175-gr Core-Lokt PSP
  • Core Lokt Tipped / 7mm BC / 175-gr / Core-Lokt Tipped
  • Premier Long Range / 7mm BC / 175-gr / Speer Impact

Handgun Loads

Whether handgun hunting or defending against big predators while in the backcountry, the new Hard Cast handgun ammunition line is engineered for deep penetration and reliable performance. Hard cast bullets are formed from an alloy blend ideal for deep penetration. Think bear country sidearm or handgun hunting thumper.

The non-deforming alloy projectiles, of heavier grains per load, are intended for impressive penetration on dense targets. Waxed grooves provide lubrication and minimize barrel fouling, while nickel plated casings ensure reliable extraction and function in all weather.

All four chamberings debuting use the hard case bullet and come packed in 20-round boxes:

  • 9mm Luger+P / 147-gr
  • 10mm / 200-gr
  • .357 Mag / 180-gr
  • .44 Rem Mag / 255-gr

Handgun hunters gain another option in a new .45 Long Colt 237-grain Core-Lokt Handgun JHP load. The Core-Lokt jacketed hollow-point design uses a nickel-plated case for superior performance and reliability.

For the rimfire shooters, Remington is introducing a new Performance Wheelgun 22 line, with a .22 LR 39-grain load to start. The truncated-cone bullet is optimized for quiet performance in rimfire revolvers.

SHOTSHELLS

Specialty shot types are all the rage these days, so it’s not surprising to see another tungsten offering. These Final Strut 12 and 20-gauge pills are packed with heavy payloads of 12 g/cc tungsten pellets for the greatest downrange energy.

What really catches the eye, though, is an all-black body and cap “for concealment." Whether you need your shells hidden or not, the aesthetics are cool. Remington’s Final Strut loads are launching in four options and two gauges:

  • 12 Gauge / 3-inch / 2ounce / #6 or #7 shot / 1,090 fps
  • 20 Gauge / 3-inch / 1-1/4 ounce / #6 or #7 shot / 1,090 fps

The Royal Flush Grouse & Quail line also sees a pretty significant new addition, at least for quail and grouse hunters with new 12 and 20-gauge options. Each is packed with what the company calls “magnum grade” payloads of copper-plated shot in sizes ideal for knocking down the birds at hand.

The Grouse and Quail loads come packaged in 25-round green and gray boxes with both game birds clearly pictured. They join multiple 12, 16, and 20-gauge offerings optimized for pheasant and upland hunters.
