The “Made in America, or Not Made at All” company is expanding its highly popular line of rimfire lever-action rifles for 2026. We caught up with Henry at this year’s NRA Annual Meeting in Houston to check out some of the upgrades and additions.
Henry revamped its H1 line of lever guns for 2026, giving the popular .22-caliber plinkers a series of updated looks and furniture that now runs the spectrum of classic Western designs and modernized synthetic-stocked options.

Some of the company’s X series rifles sport everything from synthetic stocks and threaded barrels to high-visibility sights and optics-ready receivers with Picatinny rails built directly into the receiver itself. Sporter models with wood furniture are also available with modernized features like threaded barrels and Picatinny rails.
We’re particularly excited to see more and more threaded barrels with the boom in the suppressor market now that the NFA $200 tax stamp is dead and, hopefully, buried forever. If you haven’t had a chance to run a lever-action Henry in .22 LR at the range, you are missing out. These guns are loads of fun.
