The Anechoic AnechoX 30L is one of the lightest titanium suppressors on the market. While lightweight normally comes at a cost, Anechoic found a great way to compensate for the challenges of making a suppressor exceptionally trim.

It’s not every day that you find a titanium suppressor that can handle a rapid shooting schedule, making this a notable design for those looking to slash ounces while still gaining performance.

Quick Summary: The Anechoic AnechoX 30L weighs only 10 ounces and is still full-auto rated. This is one of the more impressive suppressors on the market and offers a reduced sound signature, lower recoil, reduced weight, and a heavy-use rating.

Overview

Suppressors continue to be one of the fastest-growing accessories in the gun industry. With shorter wait times, more advanced manufacturing technologies, and great user benefits, there has been a surge in suppressors and suppressor technologies lately.

Anechoic’s suppressor line focuses on combining 17-4 stainless steel with high-grade titanium to create quality suppressors that are very light while still reducing the sound signature and recoil of firearms. They do this in a way that still combats backpressure buildup and allows for the use of popular HUB mounts.

The AnechoX 30L has all of the above traits and can handle the abuse of rapid shooting schedules for any centerfire cartridge, ranging from 5.7mm to .300 RUM.

The AnechoX 30L is a 10.2-ounce suppressor that is 8.1 inches long. It employs a titanium sleeve that houses the Anechoic X-style baffles. These baffles are easy to service, with hassle-free removal for maintenance and cleaning.

The X baffle system features a 17-4 stainless-steel blast chamber near the muzzle. This handles the majority of the abuse from firing high-pressure cartridges. Each baffle has a vented cone, which allows for the rapid expansion of gases and bleeds off the excess. This brings down the sound signature and also helps reduce recoil.

The AnechoX 30L features a HUB-compatible thread pitch on the mounting side of the can. That allows for the use of any HUB-compatible muzzle devices. Additionally, a direct-thread mount comes with the suppressor.

The AnechoX 30L features a reduced backpressure system that pushes the gas forward and away from the shooter. Anechoic suppressors come with vented end caps to help the system push the gas forward and out of the muzzle.

This flow-through design reduces the amount of gas or toxins that vent at the action near the shooter’s face. While the vented caps can lead to a louder sound signature, these suppressors also include an Anechoic Quiet Cap with a sealed-off design to further reduce the sound signature. These Quiet Caps are perfect for bolt rifles and are especially appealing for hunting.

Finally, but significantly, the AnechoX 30L is full-auto rated, though it is worth noting that this rating does not necessarily have an industry standard. For standard 16-inch barrel lengths and up, the company suggests the suppressor can handle 50 rounds of 5.56mm, 20 rounds of .308 Win, and eight to 10 rounds of magnum rifle cartridges in full-auto fire. For shorter barrel lengths, it is recommended to drop those round counts.

Range Performance

The most notable feature of the AnechoX 30L is its lightweight construction. Any .30-caliber suppressor will likely be paired with a bigger, bulkier firearm. Most .30-caliber rifles use accessories like optics and bipods, and no one wants to add extra weight. That’s especially true if you are shooting from an unsupported position.

The AnechoX is hardly noticeable on the end of the muzzle.

While the can goes largely unnoticed thanks to its weight, its presence is extremely apparent as soon as you squeeze the trigger. From the incredible drop in decibels to the lighter recoil impulse, the value of adding this suppressor to any rifle is extremely apparent. Unlike many other suppressors, it is easy to blitz through a magazine or two without the worry of being gassed in the face the entire time.

From bolt-action rifles chambered for .300 Blackout and 6.5 Creedmoor to semi-autos running 5.56mm and .308 Win, we had a much more pleasant time shooting with this suppressor on the end of the gun. Regardless of the caliber or platform, the report was quieter, the recoil impulse was reduced, and I was not worried about the negative effects of backpressure.

I was also incredibly impressed with the Cerakote.

Having reviewed many suppressors, I have found it very common for the finish to start wearing after just a few magazines. I have shot several hundred rounds out of the AnechoX 30L, and the finish still looks brand new.

Anechoic AnechoX 30L Suppressor
Whatever platform you choose, the AnechoX 30L offers many advantages. (Samantha Mursan/Guns.com)

The Anechoic brand may not be as recognizable as some of the suppressor giants that we all know, but it absolutely deserves your consideration when shopping for a can. The company’s products are quality and include most of what you want in a modern suppressor.

Suppressors are the safest devices that can improve the shooting experience while reducing the risks. Overall, the AnechoX 30L is a modular suppressor that is versatile in calibers and function, allowing for safer shooting with many different platforms.

This is a solid yet light suppressor. It would be a great addition for hunting in the backcountry with a magnum bolt-action rifle or on the end of an AR-15 staged for home defense.
