The Dan Wesson PT-C is a Commander-sized 1911-style pistol from the early 2000s, part of the Patriot Series developed before CZ acquired Dan Wesson. It’s a semi-custom handgun built with premium components and hand-fitted craftsmanship. Here's what defines it:
Size & Frame: Commander-size slide and frame, Forged stainless steel construction, Bead-blasted matte finish on rounded surfaces, satin-brushed flats
Barrel: 4.25" forged one-piece stainless steel match-grade barrel
Caliber: .45 ACP
Trigger & Hammer: Lightweight STI carbon target trigger, Commander-style match-grade hammer
Sights: XS 24/7 night sights (rear post) for low-light visibility
Grips: Exotic AAA cocobolo hardwood grips
Safety & Controls: Extended thumb safety, High-ride beavertail grip safety, Standard slide release, Beveled magazine well for smoother reloads
