The EAA EA/R .38 SPL—most widely known by its official commercial name, the EAA Windicator—is a budget-conscious, double-action/single-action (DA/SA) revolver. It is manufactured in Germany by Weihrauch Revolver and imported to the United States by the European American Armory (EAA) Corporation. The "EA/R" designation stands for European American Armory Revolver and is stamped on the frame of these imported models. It is highly regarded as a robust, no-nonsense utility firearm for home defense or budget-friendly range use.
