Erfurter Maschinenfabrik (ERMA) S35

Product Information & Specs

Seller Description For This Firearm

The Erfurter Maschinenfabrik (ERMA) S35 is a sporting variant of the DSM34 (Deutsches Sportmodell). Introduced in 1934, the DSM34 was manufactured as a pre-WWII training rifle and made to mimic German service rifles of that time. The S35 was made by marrying the standard DSM34 barreled action with a different stock, trigger guard, and commercial sights. It is a notable example of pre-war German firearms craftsmanship, reflecting the precision engineering and manufacturing standards.

Today, the ERMA S35 is valued for its historical significance, classic design, and relative scarcity. Original examples are increasingly difficult to locate, particularly those that have been well preserved over the decades. The S35 stands out as a rare and desirable acquisition for collectors focused on authentic period rifles and historically important firearms.

This DSM34/S35 includes one 5-round magazine. There is a crack at the front on the left side of the stock, multiple small dings and dents on the wood, the screws are mangled, and the buttplate is worn with light pitting.

Serial number: 9068

WE SUPPORT LOCAL GUN STORES

Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community.  Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state.  At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible.  That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

Most everything can be easily bought online these days.  But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated.  Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want.  Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice.  Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
