The Big Boy series is an upscaled version of Henry's popular .22-caliber Classic series lever-action rifles and is designed around large bore calibers meant for hunting, target, and personal protection. The Color Case Hardened Side Gate model features a classic case-hardened finish for a vintage appearance and includes a side loading gate to allow for quick reloading without having to disassemble the magazine. The rifles also feature a classic straight hand grip and octagon-profile barrel to finish out the old west look.
This model is chambered in .45 Long Colt and features a 20-inch barrel. The receiver is drilled and tapped for installation of scope mounts.
