Mega MATEN .308 Precision Rifle | 24” Lilja | Nightforce ATACR | Geissele | LaRue | Loaded Package
If you know what you’re looking at, this is not a typical AR-10. This is a serious precision .308 gas gun built on a Mega Arms MATEN billet receiver, one of the most respected large-frame platforms from the era before Mega was acquired by ZEV Technologies. Original Mega-marked MATEN builds like this have become harder to find, especially when they’re done right and not pieced together with filler parts.
At the core of this rifle is a 24” Lilja Precision stainless barrel chambered in .308 Win with a 1:11 twist, a combination known for consistency and real long-range performance. It is paired with a Geissele trigger system that delivers the clean, predictable break you expect in a true precision setup. The rifle is configured for stability and control with a Magpul PRS precision stock, a free float handguard, and a large multi-port muzzle brake that keeps recoil flat and manageable under sustained fire. An ergonomic rubberized grip rounds out the handling without overcomplicating the build.
The glass alone puts this rifle in a different category. Sitting on top is a Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 F1 with 0.1 MRAD adjustments, mounted in a LaRue Tactical QD mount, and it is complemented by a LaRue bipod. This is not entry-level glass or budget mounting hardware. This is a complete, ready-to-run precision package built with components that experienced shooters recognize immediately.
Everything about this rifle reflects a time when builds were driven by performance, not trends. Mega MATEN receiver, Lilja barrel, Geissele trigger, Nightforce ATACR, LaRue mounting system and bipod. There are no weak links in this setup. You could easily spend the time and money trying to recreate something like this today and still not match how well this one is put together. Condition is excellent with light handling wear consistent with careful ownership. It is clean, well-maintained, and presents exactly like a rifle that was built with intent and taken care of accordingly. This is not a worn-out range gun or a slapped-together build.
High-end MATEN builds with Lilja barrels and ATACR optics do not come up often in this condition. If you’ve been looking for a properly built .308 precision gas gun without cutting corners, this is one to act on. All used firearms are sold as is, with no warranties expressed or implied.

Shopping at Guns.com gives you the backing of a company that is committed to your satisfaction. And unlike our competitors, it extends beyond the buying process. We get the FFL from your store – others make you find it, copy it, and fax it. We have a generous return policy, and handle everything – you don’t have to go back to the store. And our Rangemasters are here to answer all your questions about our products or process. We're bringing a level of service to the online gun buying experience that is unheard of.
Many online gun sales actually take away from your local community. Instead of buying a gun that’s on your local store’s shelf, most retailers drop ship it from a warehouse in another state. At Guns.com, if an FFL is part of our network, we sell THEIR guns first whenever possible. That way, we’re helping small businesses in your community AND if they have it in stock, you can pick your gun up IMMEDIATELY – it’s how business should be done.
Most everything can be easily bought online these days. But for some reason, buying a gun online can be complicated. Most websites are poorly organized, don’t tell you a lot about what you’re buying, and leave you on your own to figure out what you want. Guns.com is built to be simple – easily organized products, useful descriptions from experts, and support to guide you to the right choice. Spend your time enjoying the gun you want, not getting frustrated with a complex website that makes gun buying hard.
GForce Jawbone 9mm PCC Review: Affordable, Reliable, & Runs on Glock Mags
While quirky, the GForce Jawbone has been very reliable, with the ability to run various aftermarket Glock magazines without issue over 800 rounds of testing. The ambidextrous controls are a plus, but I wish some were a bit less easy to bump.
