Advanced Barrel & PerformanceHeavy Contour Varmint Barrel: Features a 20-inch carbon steel, heavy-profile barrel that resists heating, minimizing point-of-impact shift during rapid or prolonged strings of fire.Fast 1:10" Twist Rate: Unlike standard Remington 700 .308 models (which traditionally use a 1:12" twist), the AAC-SD features a faster 1:10" rifling twist. This allows the rifle to stabilize heavy precision projectiles (168gr to 175gr+) and heavy subsonic ammunition exceptionally well.Factory Threaded Muzzle: Comes pre-threaded from the factory in standard 5/8"-24 TPI (Threads Per Inch), allowing users to immediately mount muzzle brakes, flash hiders, or sound suppressors without paying for custom gunsmithing. It includes a thread protector.2. Action & ReceiverLegendary "Three Rings of Steel": Built on the cylindrical Remington 700 receiver machined from solid bar stock.
