First introduced by Remington Arms in 1950, it features a receiver machined from a solid billet of steel and utilizes twin action bars to prevent binding, providing famously smooth, reliable cycling. Revered as an American hunting icon, the Wingmaster is primarily distinguished from standard 870 models by its premium high-gloss or satin-finished American walnut stock and deep, high-polish blued metal finishes.
