Remington Model 81 Woodsmaster — .30 Remington

For sale is a classic Remington Model 81 Woodsmaster chambered in .30 Remington. The Model 81 is one of Remington’s great early semi-automatic sporting rifles and is based on John Browning’s long-recoil operating system. Produced from the mid-1930s through 1950, the Woodsmaster has become a desirable collectible for fans of vintage Remington rifles, early American autoloaders, and old-school deer rifles.

This example is chambered in .30 Remington, Remington’s rimless cartridge that offers performance in the same general class as the .30-30 Winchester while being designed for Remington’s repeating rifles.
