The Saint-Étienne Buffalo Match Rifle is a unique French-made single-shot rifle designed for precision target shooting. Known for its solid construction and accurate barrel, it offers a stable, deliberate shooting experience typical of early European match rifles. Its uncommon design and heritage from the Saint-Étienne region add to its collector appeal.
This example remains a desirable piece for both shooters and collectors, though it does show a crack behind the trigger guard on the left side. Despite this condition note, it retains its distinctive character and continues to represent a classic example of vintage target rifle craftsmanship.

Saint-Etienne Model Buffalo Match Rifle (.22 LR). The rifle retains the original factory diopter sight. The bore is mint. The wood and blued finish remain in excellent condition. There is very slight high edge wear and a small number of minor dings in the wood. Firearm features an adjustable trigger and storage for the front sight in pistol grip. Overall, an outstanding example of a Buffalo Match Rifle.
