The SIG SAUER MCX-SPEAR is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO, featuring a 16" barrel and a 20-round capacity. Built on SIG SAUER's next-generation MCX platform, it utilizes a short-stroke gas piston operating system designed to provide reliable performance, reduced fouling, and enhanced durability across a wide range of shooting conditions.
This specific configuration features a coyote-finished receiver set, a free-floating M-LOK handguard, and a side-folding, adjustable stock. Fully ambidextrous controls and a monolithic upper receiver contribute to the rifle's versatility and ease of operation, while the modern platform is designed to accommodate optics, suppressors, and other accessories. Its combination of power, modularity, and advanced design makes it well-suited for precision shooting, range use, and sporting applications.
