The SIG Sauer P226 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is a highly collectible 9mm handgun. It pays tribute to the original 1984 XM9 Service Pistol Trials. It is an all-metal, hammer-fired pistol.

Key Features

Retro Design: It recreates the classic early 1980s railless frame. It has the same 4.4-inch barrel as the original.
Classic Grips: Includes Hogue Retro Alloy grips similar to the old West German models.
Capacity: Holds 15 + 1 rounds in its standard double-stack magazines.
Action: Features a DA/SA (Double-Action/Single-Action) trigger system. The first trigger pull is heavier (Double-Action), and subsequent shots are lighter and shorter (Single-Action)

Historical Details

This limited edition pays homage to the MK25. That was the famous version of the gun officially adopted by the Navy SEALs and DEVGRU in 1989.

Collectible Packaging

The pistol arrives in retro-style packaging. It includes a mustard-yellow, velvet-lined display box. You also get a scanned reproduction of the original hand-drawn manual and a limited-edition "History of the P226" booklet.
