This is a rare to find Smith & Wesson model 3914 9mm pistol. There is some obvious wear to the finish. It looks as if possibly someone with oily skin held it a bunch. I'm not sure what actually caused the wear. It just looks very similar to one that I had seen someone said had that done to it. Other than the wear to the finish this is a fantastic little Smith that comes on target nicely with the Novack sights. Everything is very smooth and the action locks tight as it should. The trigger feels great. This gun was NOT tested with live ammunition. It WAS dry fire tested or tested with snap caps. This firearm is sold in an AS-IS condition.
