The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 is a modern striker-fired pistol designed for duty use, personal defense, and range performance, building on the proven success of the original M&P series. Manufactured in the United States, the M2.0 lineup introduced improved ergonomics, a more refined trigger feel, and significantly enhanced grip texture over the first generation models. Chambered in 9mm, the compact 4-inch configuration offers an excellent balance between shootability and carry-friendly dimensions. Its reliability and straightforward operation have made it a strong contender in the modern service pistol market.

This example is the 4-inch barrel variant and features a frame-mounted thumb safety for shooters who prefer an added manual safety option on a striker-fired platform. The pistol retains the aggressive M2.0 grip texture, providing a secure and confident hold during rapid fire or adverse conditions. Factory iron sights offer a durable and familiar sight picture, while the striker-fired trigger system delivers a consistent pull with a tactile reset.
