The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Metal Competitor is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger (9x19mm), built on Smith & Wesson's metal-frame M&P platform and designed for competition, range shooting, and high-performance use. This specific configuration features a 5" barrel and a 17-round capacity.
This model features a metal frame with a two-tone finish, an optics-ready slide, and an extended 5" barrel configuration. Designed as part of the Competitor series, it incorporates an enlarged frame and slide design intended to provide excellent handling characteristics during extended range sessions and competitive shooting. The optics-ready slide allows for the installation of compatible red dot sights, while the full-size configuration offers a generous sight radius and comfortable grip surface.
The M&P9 M2.0 Metal Competitor delivers dependable semi-automatic performance in a full-size metal-frame handgun platform chambered in 9mm Luger.

Built for competition right out of the box, this metal-framed 9mm pistol is designed to give competitive shooters the edge. The Competitor comes with a 5-inch barrel, has an enhanced sear for lighter, crisper trigger let-off, and includes a flared magazine well for fast and efficient reloads. Boasting a new look, the aggressive lightning cuts on both the top and sides of the slide ultimately reduce the amount of weight in front of the chamber and, in return, help improve the recoil balance point. The slide is cut for optics, includes a fiber optic front sight, and blacked out serrated rear sight. The Competitor comes with an oversized mag release that is reversible for both right and left-handed users and ships with a total of four magazines in 17+1 round capacities with a two-tone Tungsten Gray Cerakote frame finish and black Armornite slide finish.
