This model firearm is a New Model No. 3 Target caliber .38-44 Gallery, and was shipped from the factory April 30, 1891, and sold to a dealer in Chicago, IL. It was shipped with a 6.5" barrel, adjustable rear target sight, nickel finish, and checkered black hard rubber grips.
This Model 3 has significant wear to the Nickel finish. Mechanical parts lock in and stay seated properly. The bore has some pitting but rifling is overall in good condition. Exterior of barrel has marring and some pitting as well. This is a .38-44 caliber. Comes with leather holster. Early serial # 1XXX.
