The Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer Champion Lightweight combines the proven reliability of the classic 1911 with a lightweight aluminum frame, making it an excellent choice for both concealed carry and range use. Its Commander-length 4” match-grade bull barrel offers a balance of accuracy, faster handling, and reduced weight compared to a full-size Government model. The forged aluminum frame keeps the pistol comfortable for all-day carry while maintaining the durability Springfield’s 1911s are known for.

Specialized for competitive shooting the 1911 Range Officer sports a Parkerized forged carbon steel match grade frame and slide. Its Parkerized stainless steel 5 barrel is match grade as well and has a fully supported ramp. Additional features include checkered cocobolo grips GI style recoil system aluminum match grade trigger and skeletonized hammer.
