Up for sale is a stunning 1943 Winchester M1 Carbine (Serial #1,275,371) housed in a highly desirable M1A1 folding paratrooper stock. This rifle represents a classic "arsenal-correct" or collector-assembled configuration featuring a genuine mid-war Winchester receiver and barrel.
The Rifle:
Receiver: Winchester Repeating Arms, produced approx. early 1943.
Barrel: Marked with the correct Winchester "W" stamp. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
Handguard: Features an era-correct ventilated metal handguard for heat dissipation.
The Stock:
Authenticity: This is a genuine WWII-era M1A1 folding stock.
Key Markings: The cast metal buttplate features the sought-after B257614 drawing number with the correct sunburst logo and mold number.
Condition: The folding mechanism is tight and locks securely. The leather cheek pad is in excellent condition with original-style rivets.
