VMAC45 Top Cocking Pistol
This is a VMAC45 45ACP semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Velocity Firearms. The VMAC45 is a modern descendant of the legendary Military Armament Corporation machine pistols produced in the early 1980s. Like the original MAC-10, it utilizes a formed sheet-metal lower receiver housing the trigger mechanism, mated to a square tubular upper receiver that contains the barrel and bolt assembly.
The pistol operates on a simple and reliable blowback, unlocked-bolt system, with the magazine well integrated into the pistol grip. The barrel is threaded 7/8 x 9, allowing compatibility with a variety of MAC-10 accessories.
All components feature a manganese phosphate finish applied in accordance with MIL-STD-171, Section 5.3.1.2, the U.S. Government’s recommended protective coating for steel. This finish offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
