The Charter Arms® Mag Pug revolver is the second to none for personal protection. The Mag Pug now sports a ported barrel to reduce recoil. The ported chambers in .357 Magnum delivers "magnum force" but also allows the use of the .38 Special round to reduce recoil.
This model comes with a Blacknitride finish. It's a new, proprietary process that adds hardness to the finish of the revolver. It also reduces friction and wear with a scratch-resistant surface.
