One of the most popular models that Pietta produces is the Gunfighter which pays homage to the numerous and notorious gunfighters of the Old West. A cowboy's preferred sidearm of the wild west was the Colt Single-Action Army dubbed the Peacemaker. It was in the hands of lawmen and outlaws alike. It was popular with ranchers and barkeeps and came in many different styles and configurations. The Gunfighter model was Pietta's way of allowing you to transport back in time and get a feel for what shooting an old Colt would be like. It is perfect for a fun day at the range or for testing your mettle in a cowboy action match. This beautiful example of an SAA comes with a blued 4.75" barrel, blued cylinder, color case hardened frame, brass trigger guard, and comfortable black checkered rubber grips.
