Thompson/Center Arms releases a new semi-automatic rimfire rifle, the Thompson/Center T/CR22, created for hunters, plinkers and those new to shooting.
Compatible with most aftermarket 10/22 accessories, the modular design on the T/CR22 boasts a lightweight Magpul co-branded OD green composite stock, oversized bolt handle for easier manipulation and crisp trigger pull. The 17-inch button-rifled barrel features a threaded muzzle to allow shooters to throw on a suppressor or other muzzle device.
The long gun is constructed from aluminum while its bolt touts a stainless steel design. Molded-in sling swivel studs on the rear and M-LOK compatible slots on the forend round out the rifle.
“The new T/CR22 rifle incorporates upgraded features right out of the box – from its enhanced materials, to its ergonomics, to its compatability with aftermarket components. We’ve taken the opportunity to contemporize a classic through advancements in design, and we are confident that our customers will appreciate the features in the new T/CR22 rifle,” Danielle Sanville, Brand Manager of Thompson/Center Arms, said in a press release.
Chambered in .22LR the rifle ships with one 10-round detachable rotary style magazine. The Thompson/Center T/CR22 is priced at $399.
