Missouri-based CMMG on Tuesday announced their newest Banshee PCC, chambered in 10mm, across a half-dozen pistol and NFA Short Barreled Rifle variants.
The new Mk 10 Banshee, in 100, 200 and 300 series of both rifles and pistols, uses CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback operating system to reduce felt recoil in the modified AR platform.
“From the moment we first introduced the Radial Delayed Blowback operating system back in 2017, our customers have repeatedly requested that we use this innovative system to chamber 10mm,” said Chris Reinkemeyer, CEO/CFO at CMMG. “We are proud to say that we have now answered the call. Not only do our 10mm offerings work with the wide range of ammunition available today, they also tame the felt recoil by a significant margin. The wait is finally over, Banshee 10mms are shipping to retailers now.”
Running Glock-compatible double stack magazines, each 10mm Banshee utilizes an H3 buffer and a 3.5-ounce tuning weight pre-installed in the carrier as well as M-Lok handguards. Built on forged 7075-T6 receivers, the pistols use either CMMG RipBraces or a smooth buffer guard while the rifles mount M4-style or CMMG RipStocks (tax stamp required). All use the same 8-inch, 1-in-16-twist, medium taper barrel.
MSRP on the Mk 10 Banshee line runs $1,299 to $1,649, depending on the model. Each ship with one 30-round SGM magazine.
CMMG has been busy sending out T&E models to YouTube gun reviewers in the past several weeks, as IV8888, the VSO Gun Channel, Who Tee Who, Dustin Ellerman and 22 Plinkster all posted videos on the platform this morning.
