Alright, you scruffy-looking nerf herders and those nerf adjacent, CMMG has delivered another short run of the company's famed Solo Blaster, Wookie not included.

True Star Wars nerds, especially fans of the original Lucas trilogy, are well-acquainted with fictional space smuggler Han Solo’s classic BlasTech DL-44 blaster, used on screen throughout his time with the franchise.

However, sourcing one is tougher than a Wampa hide as the screen-used originals – even fully inert "rubber ducks" – have gone for upwards of $500,000

Building a firing model akin to the circa 1977 prop, using a Mauser C96, visually modified with a World War II-era German MG81 machine gun muzzle device and a Hensoldt & Wetzlar Ziel Dialyth 3x riflescope from the same era, can also be tough for anyone not Jerry Miculek

That's what makes the CMMG variant so appealing.

A firing .22 LR semi-auto, the CMMG Solo Blaster has a hand-carved grip, a battle-worn Cerakote finish, and a customized muzzle brake.

It ships with three magazines in a custom-printed case.

"Derived from CMMG’s popular line of .22 LR firearms, this pistol mimics the original Solo Blaster but with all the form and function you’ve come to know from a CMMG pistol," notes the company.

As far as price and availability, the model goes live on May 2, and only 100 have been made.

It looks like 22Plinkster already got his, so there may just be 99 up for grabs.
