This is a solid, Japanese-made Howa Model 1500 bolt-action rifle chambered in the versatile and popular .243 Winchester. Imported by Legacy Sports International of Reno, NV, the Howa 1500 is well-regarded for its cold-hammer-forged barrel, smooth action, and proven accuracy potential.

Condition Notes:
This is a used rifle that shows honest field wear. The synthetic stock has numerous light scratches and scuffs throughout (especially noticeable on the buttstock and grip areas). The barrel and metal surfaces show surface rust and pitting in spots, particularly toward the muzzle and along the barrel. The scope and rings appear functional with typical handling marks. Trigger area includes a red plastic flag/safety device as pictured. Overall, this is a shooter-grade rifle that would benefit from a thorough cleaning and possible rust remediation, but remains a capable platform for hunting or range use.
The .243 Win is an excellent dual-purpose cartridge—flat-shooting and effective on varmints and medium game such as deer and antelope. Pair it with the adjustable-objective Mountmaster scope for flexible hunting distances.
