For sale is a distinctive Luigi Franchi Quail Unlimited Limited Edition 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, imported by American Arms, Inc. of North Kansas City, MO. This is a true 1 of 300 limited production model, featuring beautiful game scene engraving that celebrates upland bird hunting.
Key Features & Markings:
Gauge: 20 GA, 3" chambered (also handles 2-3/4" shells)
Barrel: 28" (approx.) Chrome-Moly steel barrel with ventilated rib
Receiver: Engraved with "QUAIL UNLIMITED Limited Edition 1 of 300" banner, flanked by detailed pointing dog scenes in the field. Additional gold-inlaid quail in flight on the right side, ornate scroll engraving, and "Luigi Franchi" markings. "Made in Italy" and American Arms importer marks are crisp.
Stock & Forend: High-gloss walnut with cut checkering on the pistol grip and forend. Includes a rubber recoil pad. Wood shows nice figure with honest field use (minor handling marks and light wear consistent with a well-cared-for hunting shotgun).
Action: Reliable gas-operated semi-automatic with smooth cycling.
Condition: Very good overall used condition. Metal retains strong bluing with some light surface wear and handling marks. Wood is solid with attractive grain and typical light scratches/dings from responsible use. Bore is bright and clean. Functions mechanically as designed. A solid field or collector's piece.
