Herter’s .357 Magnum Single Action Revolver – Made in Western Germany
This is a classic Herter’s single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum (also accepts .38 Special). Manufactured in Western Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn and imported/marketed by Herter’s of Waseca, Minnesota. These solidly built sixguns from the 1960s are patterned after the classic Colt Single Action Army design and have developed a following among collectors and shooters for their quality construction at a more accessible price point than contemporary Rugers or Colts.

Condition: Good used condition. The blued finish shows typical handling and holster wear with some thinning and light marks, especially along high edges and the cylinder. Grips have visible wear and light surface marks but remain solid and serviceable. Mechanics appear intact from visual inspection (cylinder rotates and locks, hammer functions). Bore condition is not fully assessed in photos but no major issues are obvious externally. Overall a solid representative example of these increasingly hard-to-find German-made Herter’s revolvers.
No stand, chamber flag, or other accessories included. Sold as shown in the photos.
A great shooter or collector piece for anyone looking for a vintage single-action .357 with European craftsmanship and American catalog-store heritage. FFL transfer required.
