This Kimber 82 Government is a highly respected bolt-action .22 LR target rifle featuring a 25" barrel and excellent accuracy potential. Originally produced for government and military marksmanship training programs, the Model 82 Government has developed a strong following among rimfire enthusiasts and collectors.
This rifle is in good condition overall. The wood stock shows some scratches and handling marks, but remains attractive and serviceable. The rifle is equipped with a Sightron scope, adding practical value and making it ready for target shooting or small game hunting.
Mechanically, the bolt operates smoothly and the rifle functions as intended. Known for their excellent barrels and triggers, Kimber 82 Government rifles are often capable of impressive accuracy with quality ammunition.
