Remington- Model 31
"Ball-Bearing" Smooth Action: Known for an incredibly smooth, slick, and fast-operating pump action, often described as gliding.
Side-Ejection Design: Replaced the older bottom-ejecting Model 17 to compete with the Winchester Model 12.
Takedown Capability: The barrel can be easily removed by a knurled nut at the end of the magazine tube, allowing for quick cleaning or barrel swaps.
Positive Fire Control: Features a safety mechanism requiring the trigger to be released and pulled again for each shot, ensuring the gun cannot be fired until the action is fully closed and locked.
Easy Magazine Unloading: Shells can be removed one at a time from the magazine without being worked through the action.
Lightweight and Balanced: Known for excellent balance and handling which is considered light and handy.
Durable Construction: Utilizes coil springs throughout instead of flat springs to reduce breakage.
