The Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum is a robust, double-action revolver renowned for its durability and ability to handle heavy loads. Introduced in 1979 and first shipped in 1980, it was Ruger's first large-bore double-action revolver, designed specifically for the powerful .44 Magnum cartridge. It's built on a solid stainless steel frame with no side plates, featuring extra metal reinforcement in the top strap, sidewalls, and barrel mounting areas to withstand high-pressure magnum loads indefinitely without loosening.
