Chambered in 38 Special P it has a 5-round capacity a snag-free enclosed hammer and is double-action only. The alloy frame of the Model 442 is lightweight making it a popular choice for concealed carry while the barrel is constructed of stainless steel and the cylinder made from carbon steel.
