The Taurus Judge is a double-action/single-action revolver chambered for both .45 Long Colt and 2½-inch .410 bore shotshells, featuring a 3-inch barrel and a 5-round cylinder capacity. Designed as a versatile defensive and field revolver, the Judge is capable of firing two different types of ammunition, making it a popular choice for personal protection, trail carry, and recreational shooting.
Built with a matte stainless steel finish, the Judge features a steel cylinder and barrel paired with Taurus' Ribber® grip, providing a comfortable and secure hold under recoil. This model is equipped with a red fiber optic front sight for enhanced visibility and faster target acquisition, while its compact 3-inch barrel offers an excellent balance of portability and practical performance. The revolver's ability to chamber both .45 Long Colt cartridges and .410 bore shotshells gives shooters added flexibility for a variety of applications.

The Taurus Judge earned its name from the number of judges in Miami who carry this revolver as their preferred self-defense weapon. Capable of firing either 45 Long Colt or 410 bore shotgun shells the five-round capacity Judge is an ideal gun for close quarters self-defense needs. The double-action Judge comes standard with a rubber grip fiber optic front sight and the key operated Taurus Security System. Shallow rifling of the barrel means the Judge is not a short barrel shotgun under the NFA though it is illegal in California due to that states more stringent gun laws.
