Seller Description For This Firearm

This is a Yugoslavian M24/47 rifle chambered in 8mm. It began life as a pre-World War II M24 rifle and was later refurbished under Yugoslavia’s postwar rebuild program, which began in 1947 and continued into the early 1950s. During this process, M24 rifles were overhauled, refinished, and re-stamped. This rifle retains matching serial numbers on the stock, magazine floorplate, magazine housing, and receiver. The bolt does not match the rifle’s serial number.

The rifle features a blued steel barrel with a bore in very good condition, a steel front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. It is fitted with an unfinished walnut stock, along with a steel trigger and trigger guard. The barrel is marked “M24/47 YUGO 8mm C.A.I. Georgia VT.” The receiver bears the socialist state emblem of Yugoslavia, which replaced the Royal Serbian double-headed eagle. Overall, this rifle is in good condition with visible signs of use and wear.
