The name of the game at Savage Arms’ 2024 SHOT Show booth in Las Vegas is “all rifles, all the time.” Though the company also produces shotguns and handguns, the new year is dominated by premium centerfires, a rimfire, and get this – even a surprising line of suppressors. Hunters will want to get a look at what Savage has designed especially for them.
110 Ultralite Elite
Let’s start with the biggest news first. Savage Arms has officially entered the serious lightweight hunting rifle market, for real this time. Built around the company’s proven 110 bolt-action family, the Ultralite Elite offers perhaps the most premium features yet found on a Savage rifle.

The rifle is fed by a low-profile AICS detachable box magazine. There’s even an integrated ARCA rail on the carbon-fiber forend. The current list of chamberings includes 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .308 Win, 7mm PRC, .300 WSM, and .300 Win Mag. Retail price is set at $3,299.
KLYM Editions
While Savage’s Ultralite Elite certainly steals the show, the recently announced pair of KLYM rifles are no slouch, in fact sharing many features with the Ultralite. There’s the 110 KLYM bolt action and the Impulse KLYM straight pull.

At the heart of each is the Proof Research carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless-steel barrel, paired with an FBT (Fine Ballistic Tools) carbon-fiber stock. The KLYM is built around a factory blueprinted action with a three-position tang safety, stainless-steel receiver, diamond-fluted bolt, threaded bolt handle with carbon-fiber knob, and topped with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail.

A22 Takedown FDE
Amid all the centerfire rifle talk, it’s a pleasure to see rimfires still making their way into the conversation. Savage’s A22 family is not new per se, but the A22 Takedown FDE is fresh for 2024.

A flat dark earth adjustable synthetic takedown configuration stock defines the .22 Long Rifle repeater. The 18-inch carbon steel barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 TPI. In a crafty move for backpackers, the stock allows for storage in the pistol grip and a magazine compartment in the cheek riser.

The rimfire wears low-profile sights, along with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail complete with a see-through iron sight channel. Accuracy is aided with Savage’s user adjustable AccuTrigger. The A22 Takedown feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine. With a quick twist, the compact rimfire breaks in two, easily packing for transport. MSRP on the new A22 Takedown FDE is $479.
110 Magpul Scout
The Scout rifle platform has been alive and well once again for several years now, and Savage Arms is now on board as well. The company showed off a 110 bolt-action-based Magpul Scout and Scout LH for lefties in both black and flat dark earth.

Savage partners versatility and accuracy with this build, dressing the Scout in Magpul’s Hunter stock, feeding from a 10-round AICS pattern box magazine, and fitted with the company’s adjustable AccuTrigger. The Scout can be had in a trio of chamberings: .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 450 Bushmaster with each wearing a compact 16.5-inch barrel.

There’s a muzzle brake, adjustable iron sights with a removable peep rear, fully adjustable length of pull, M-LOK slots, and of course the full-length extended Scout-style rail. Retail pricing is set at $1,099, with no increase noted for southpaws.
AccuCan
Savage Arms is officially in the suppressor market with its 2024-debuted AccuCan. In fact, the company is launching three multi-caliber models simultaneously: AC22, AC30, and AC338. The modular cans use a replaceable core and end cap along with a serialized thread mount. There’s a direct thread aluminum mount with a titanium thread insert. Features include built-in self-cleaning carbon cutters and hard coat anodizing.

The AccuCans are built specifically for hunters and crafted of a combination of aluminum and titanium, making them some of the lighter suppressors advertised today. Each is easy to disassemble and reassemble in the field, without specialized tools or equipment.
The AC22 uses the smaller 1/2x28 TPI, while the others are standard 5/8x24. The AC338 is rated up to .338 Lapua Magnum with a controlled rate of fire. Weights are 3.5 ounces, 10.8 ounces, and 18.5 ounces, respectively, along with retail pricing of $399.99, $699.99, and $899.99.
