We’ve tested and reviewed loads of rifle suppressors here at Guns.com. While it’s almost impossible to truly pick the “best” of anything these days, our testing has shown a few suppressors to be versatile, durable, quiet, and particularly handy.

On top of making shooting safer and more enjoyable for everyone involved, the current craze for quiet cans now includes a $0 NFA tax stamp. So, it has never been easier or more affordable to get into the suppressor game.

Video Summary: Join the Guns.com team as we field-test our top rifle suppressor picks for 2026. This showcase breaks down the performance of the Banish Speed K Ti on gas guns, the "heavy-duty" durability of the Dead Air Sandman X, and the award-winning RXD30Ti collaboration. Whether you are looking for the ultra-lightweight profile of the AnechoX 30L or a true multi-caliber workhorse like the B&T Vers36 36XM, this video provides a side-by-side look at the suppression and recoil tech defining the modern silencer market.

Banish Speed K Ti

It’s almost impossible to talk about the “best” suppressors without including something tailor-made for the incredibly popular AR-15 platform. Whether it’s .223 Rem or 5.56mm NATO, the AR-15 is probably the most-shot gun in America.

Banish’s stubby and fat Speed K Ti may not look like much, but it is ready to quiet noisy AR-15s. I didn’t expect this shorty to do much in the way of sound suppression for the relatively loud .223/5.56, but don’t let its size fool you.

I was pleasantly surprised by how this chopped-down design performed when thoroughly testing and reviewing both the lightweight Speek K Ti (titanium) and full-auto-rated standard Speed K (Inconel). The can uses clipped-wall baffles and a finned blast chamber. It did a great job of limiting the sound signature, felt recoil, and flash despite its short length.

Speed K Ti Basic Specs:

Weight: 0.54 pounds
Length: 4 inches
Diameter: 2 inches
Mount: HUB compatible
Full-Auto Rated: No (standard Speed K: yes)
Calibers: .17 HMR to .223 Rem/5.56 NATO

Dead Air Sandman X

Dead Air’s updated, 3D-printed Sandman X is a one-piece design that’s rugged and full-auto rated. This is a heavy-duty, hard-use suppressor that can run calibers up to .300 RUM.

That robustness makes the Sandman X a tad heavy at just over 1 pound, but that’s okay. It’s designed for abuse from just about any .30-cal gun out there. There are various mounting options. Dead Air has a Xeno mounting option for shorter length or quick-mount KeyMo. The can itself is industry-standard HUB compatible.

I’ve had this can on the range personally for extensive testing. It does not disappoint. The Sandman X does a great job of bringing down the sound levels and dealing with gas.

Sandman X Basic Specs:

Weight: 1.05 pounds
Length: 6.9 inches
Diameter: 1.65 inches
Mount: KeyMo quick-detach system, HUB compatible
Full-Auto Rated: Yes
Calibers: .30 cal, runs up to .300 RUM

B&T Vers36 36XM

This next can from B&T is setting new standards. The 3D-printed Vers36 36XM uses cutting-edge technology to create unique internal baffle systems. The titanium suppressor is modular and offers two lengths: 6.9 or 8.3 inches.

Titanium keeps this suppressor lightweight, but it can still hold up under extreme use. The end cap comes off for caliber swaps, allowing users allows users to adjust the relatively wide 0.360-inch bore opening.

We first encountered and tested this can in the wild at SHOT Show 2025. The sound suppressor and gas management are solid, but the multi-caliber modularity is a big win for those looking to run a can on multiple guns. It’s HUB compatible for a wide range of firearm mounting options, including handguns requiring a Nielsen device.

Vers36 36XM Basic Specs:

Weight: 0.46 to 0.71 pounds, depending on configuration
Length: 6.9 to 8.3 inches
Diameter: 1.7 inches
Mount: HUB compatible
Full-Auto Rated: Yes
Calibers: Up to .360 caliber

Dead Air & Ruger RXD30Ti

This suppressor is a joint design venture between Dead Air and Ruger. The two companies went through the entire design process together from the perspectives of a firearm and suppressor manufacturer.

The titanium RXD30Ti is not full-auto rated, but it is very lightweight for its size. It also does a great job reducing recoil thanks to the front venting ports. I did a full review of this suppressor recently, and it tames recoil while killing sound very well.

Ruger and Dead Air also included a muzzle device that removes the need for an adapter while still offering a recoil-reducing option, with or without the suppressor attached.

RXD30Ti Basic Specs:

Weight: 0.78 pounds
Length: 7.34 inches
Diameter: 1.74 inches
Mount: HUB compatible
Full-Auto Rated: No
Calibers: .30 caliber, up to .300 PRC

Anechoic AnechoX 30L

Of all the suppressors on this list, I think I’m most excited about what Anechoic is doing with its AnechoX 30L. This titanium and aluminum can is not full-auto rated, but that’s the tradeoff for a suppressor that is ultra-lightweight and fantastic for sound reduction.

At just around 0.64 pounds, this featherweight rifle suppressor still manages to support .30-cal magnum chamberings. This would be a great choice for backcountry hunting when every ounce of weight matters.

I did a full review of the AnechoX 30L. it was very successful at reducing sound and felt recoil. While it’s not full-auto rated, it is more than ready to stand up to some hard use over time.

AnechoX 30L Basic Specs:

Weight: 0.64 pounds
Length: 8.2 inches
Diameter: 1.6 inches
Mount: HUB compatible
Full-Auto Rated: No
Calibers: .22 to .30 caliber, up to .300 RUM

Final Thoughts

Obviously, these are not the only “best” rifle suppressors out there. There are just way too many to choose from, depending on your specific needs. However, these are five excellent, proven platforms that we’ve put through testing over the years.

They are also versatile and readily available, which is great for those looking to either get a dedicated suppressor or trying to suppress several guns in their collection.

The future of the gun world is looking increasingly quiet these days, and we love seeing that. It makes shooting safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Now is a great time to start shooting on mute, especially since the $0 NFA tax stamp on suppressors is in full swing.
