Santa Claus arrested in Idaho
Santa Claus. No joke.
Christmas may be over, but Santa Claus was spotted near Post Falls, Idaho, Thursday driving on the wrong side of the road.
Police confirmed that the 67-year-old man’s legal name is, in fact, Santa Claus, and he is from Spokane, Washington.
When officers stopped him for driving on the wrong side of the road, Claus explained that he wasn’t familiar with the roads because he wasn’t from around there. He was arrested for DUI, but his charge was later downgraded to reckless driving, for which he pleaded guilty and paid a $700 fine.
